In this class we will take a look at Chinese
medicine's unique approach to the use of
herbs, spices and food to regain and
maintain health. Prior attendance in Intro to
Chinese Medicine strongly recommended.

Common Ailments

Learn acupressure techniques to help
relieve everyday aches, pains and ailments.
 This course will give you a basic
understanding of Chinese Medicine, with an
emphasis on the meridian system and the
concept of qi. You will learn to locate and
use specific acupoints for common ailments
such as headaches, common cold,
coughing, nausea, indigestion, anxiety and
more.  For a deeper understanding, it is
recommended that you also take the
Intro
Chinese Medicine class.
Health & Longevity thru
Chinese Medicine
According to Chinese medicine, when the
seasons change, certain organs become
more vulnerable. This series of classes
covers the organ systems associated with
each season and gives you dietary, herbal
and lifestyle tips for staying healthier during
that season.

Staying Healthy thru Winter

Winter is associated with the kidneys,
bladder, knees, low back and more. Learn to
look at the winter season through the lens of
Chinese Medicine, and discover how it
affects our physical and mental wellbeing.  
Using this approach we will learn about
foods, herbs, acupressure, and other
techniques for staying warm, healthy and
strong this winter.  


Staying Healthy thru
Winter part II

I am now offering a part II for each seasonal
Health & Longevity class to give you more
tools for staying healthy and transforming
pain. These classes will be more
experiential, exploring the channels of
energy associated with the organs for that
season through meditation and joyful
movement. Mindfully promoting energy flow
through these channels keeps us healthy,
and transforms pain and disease. We will go
more in-depth into the energetics of the
Kidneys and Bladder, and I will share how I
personally stay healthy all Winter. Be
prepared to feel good!
